LAST NIGHT I DANCED WITH JESUS

I was feeling old and tired last night, I ached from head to toe,

perhaps if I lie down a while I thought the pain would go.

​

My eyes began to slowly close, a calm came over me,

I saw Jesus smiling his sweet smile, his hand held out for me to see.

​

"I know you're feeling weary, afraid to take a chance,

I'm here to lift your spirit, would you like to dance?"

​

My eyes began to fill with tears, "I haven't danced for thirty years."

"Just take my hand and start to sway, and we will dance the night away."

​

He held both hands and we took flight.

​

Jesus danced with me last night.
